Hi!
I am Zubair. I currently teach at the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Multimedia University, Malaysia, and I work on research and development in sensing systems, radiation measurement, fibre-optic technologies, embedded systems, and applied machine learning.
This site is where I keep track of my professional journey, including research updates, publications, teaching, projects, conferences, and collaborations. I will also share selected personal updates when they are relevant to my work, learning, travel, or wider academic life.
A large part of my work is about building systems that connect the physical world with useful data. This includes radiation sensors, fibre-optic measurement systems, real-time monitoring, cloud-based analytics, and machine learning methods for understanding signals. I am especially interested in research that can move beyond papers and prototypes, and become something practical, reliable, and useful.
I hope this website will be useful not only to people who already know my work, but also to students, researchers, engineers, collaborators, and anyone interested in applied AI, sensing technologies, radiation dosimetry, and research-driven innovation.
Feel free to explore the site for updates on my work, publications, teaching materials, technical notes, and reflections from my academic and professional journey.
